How to Save Text As Outlines
Spandex Table Covers are digitally printed on a thin vinyl film

We use two print methods for printing on fabrics. For screen printing we require vector artwork. For Dye sublimation we prefer vector artwork for an spot color prints with pantone numbers called out and for 4 color process images we prefer high resolution art files (with transparent background if you want us to match the background color to the fabric on the tablecloth).

PREFERRED ART PROGRAMS

Adobe Illustrator CS5 (earlier versions are acceptable) - Save as .ai, .eps, or .pdf
Adobe Photoshop CS5 (earlier versions are acceptable) - Save as - .pds, .tiff
Adobe InDesign CS4 (earlier versions are acceptable) - Save as - .indd

COLOR MATCHING

For Screen printed items we can match any Pantone exactly.
Dye Sublimation is a CMYK process however the CMYK mixes will react differently on different substrates so:
For spot color images we strongly encourage using PMS#s as a reference point. For 4 color process and photographic images please submit a paper copy match print for us to reference so we can be as accurate as possible.

We do our best to match identified PMS colors on dye sublimation, however we only guarantee an "as close as possible" match. When screen printing we can be more accurate with color matching.

RESOLUTION

Vector graphics have no problems with resolution. Image files (.jpg, .png, .tiff) are files made of pixels and require high resolution. 100-150 dpi at actual size. Which means if we need to print your image at 20" then you need to blow up your image to 20" and the resolution needs to be 100-150 dpi. A good way to test if your image is going to be good enough is to blow it up to size in your computer and see if it gets blurry. If so it is probably too low res and you may need vector recreation services.

If we need to put your image file on fabric with a color to match the fabric on the background then please send your .png file with a transparent background so we may color the background to match the fabric color.

GRAPHIC SIZE

You may request the graphic to be a certain size, however if a specific size is not called out on the order or in the art file we will maximize and center the graphic on the product. The size of the imprint will be identified on the proof for your reference. On Polyester poplin dye sub or screen print on poplin we can use the maximum print area available on the fabric. For Wyndham fabric we are limited to a 48"x20" screen size but can use the full area available when dye sub printing. For spandex tablecloths we are limited to 40"x15" image size.

PROOF PROCESS

Virtual proofs are sent via email withing one business day from the date the order is entered into our system. Proofs are provided at no charge but should not be used for creative decision making. If you need help with changing your creative please contact your representative.

If you have multiple images, please place them all in the desired layout for faster proofing or we can do the layout for you. We offer templates for tablecloths:
